you use an interesting program

really choppy piano sounds, but when I take that into account, it reminds me of the old generation 1 pokemon games alot.
Cool song. Not particularly good, but then alot of songs aren't particularly good.

Emotionally charged and just got damn beautiful. Way to be an amazing composer during senior year too.

This is all pretty good

I semi agree with midimachine, in the fact that better sound samples would do good for your music. Also, at 1:56 and around there with the high strings, it sounds like they are doing 7ths, or maybe they are just awkward synths cuz it just sounded wrong. You have everything else down. I didn't hear any wrong chords..

I liked the syncopated piano part. and all the rest of the piano part, but instrument variation would be good with some intense violins and violas and whatnot. 4/5

i did have some violin effects for the program, but they didn't sound right. basically, i worked with what i had. it also comes from my lack of experience with classical work. i chose not to sample violins from an outside source, since i do not believe in sampling... at least not for this kind of work. i wanted to look back at my songs, knowing that i did everything from scratch. but, thanks for the input. glad you enjoyed it.

ah ok

they are very similar. the techno and the raw. maybe that first section of drumbass craziness can remain alone, and you can insert the techno for all of the other ones?
you knwo? compromise?
this one is practically the same so maybe you should just take the best of both worlds

the beginning is pretty long and the techno caught me off guard, but in a good way.
And its pretty awesome techno.
good job I'll check out the raw but I think I like this more already.

so really you can just make teh beginning part shorter to lessen the awkward gap and its swell

haha i think this is funny, the rapping is awesome but the weird "boom" sound... it sounds like a guy growling like a dog

gets stale

repetitive from the beginning and just gets stale by the end.
otherwise ok. its just the repeition is driving me nuts

Yeah, thanks for the review! That's something I really need to work on is the too much repetition! I just wish I knew how to make it more exciting. But I'm sure if I keep practicing the music will get better!
